Bowling At Soar Valley
At Soar Valley the club prides itself in providing the opportunity to enjoy the sport in both a competitive, and casual manner. Weekly bowling for men and ladies takes place throughout the season.
Men’s Section
The Men’s section plays in competitive league matches on a Monday afternoon with three teams in the Bowls Loughborough League, on a Wednesday evening in the Leicester and District League and on a Thursday evening with two teams in the Bowls Loughborough League.
There are also friendly fixtures on a Saturday afternoon against other local teams and these are mixed teams with the Ladies playing alongside the men.
Ladies’ Section
The Ladies’ section plays in competitive league matches on a Tuesday morning in the Bowls Loughboroughleague.
There are also friendly fixtures on played on various days of the week against other local teams.
Chummies
Casual bowling on Tuesday afternoons for all members , and anyone wishing to try bowling in a very friendly atmosphere. Starts at 2pm.
Chummy sessions will also be held on Friday Evenings from Friday 14th April until the end of May. Starts 6pm.
Non members are welcome to try out our sport, and don’t worry about equipment or kit, we would be delighted to help you have a go.
Sundays
The Club organises one off bowling events during the season. In addition to the above members can play internal competition matches with each other, or friendly roll ups with each other around the above fixtures.
